Lake Superior seen on a fine, summer day. I made this picture from the Bayfield Peninsula on the Wisconsin side, with Minnesota's shoreline in the distance. The pink coloration in the water is the effect of iron-rich water from a nearby creek flowing into the lake. That is common on this section of the Lake Superior shoreline, and is, to my knowledge, a natural effect, not a form of pollution. Please note that if you order greeting cards, you should probably use Option 2, the horizontal format.
